Preschool and Orphanage Support

Children are among the most vulnerable in rural communities and so many have suffered hunger and abandonment as a result of the pandemic.  At Rise and Shine preschool in rural Hammanskraal and Boitumelo Orphanage children often go without food or eat one meal a day.

With the help of our donors, we have provided food, blankets, toiletries as well as a few basic toys. The orphanage needed a washing machine which we were able to provide.  The preschool is in terrible disrepair, and we have been able to paint the boundary walls.
